GPS Trackers
Wondering if we're out on the trail or how we're fairing in a race? You can keep tabs on us through our SPOT Satellite GPS Messengers! We each have our own device (Kristy SPOT and Anna SPOT) and will frequently be transmitting data from out on the trail. The little waypoints with the footprints are live tracking points and should update every 10 minutes or so when we have them activated. There are also preprogrammed Check-In/OK and Custom messages that will appear on the map from time to time.
If you're having problems viewing the below map, please go directly to our SPOT Adventures shared page. If you're not taken directly to our shared page with that link, please try going to www.spotadventures.com and search for "seeingdouble1". Sorry for any technical difficulties!!
SPECIAL IDITAROD 2013 NOTE: The trail committee announced last minute that personal GPS trackers would not be permitted during this year's race. I know times are tough and they would prefer folks sign up for Iditarod Insider GPS coverage, so I can't blame them too much. SO! Follow the updates in our Iditarod Race Blog or sign up to become an Iditarod Insider if you want GPS. Sorry!
